What is a payment gateway crawler?

When your customer makes a payment, the payment gateway can see your order information and the domain that initiated the payment. They may use crawlers to check the domain that initiated the payment and analyze whether the website violates their policies.

How does Muadata's cloak handle payment gateway crawlers?

Our cloak strategy involves redirecting the payment from Website A to Website B. At this point, the payment gateway sees the payment information submitted by Website B. When their crawler analyzes your Website B, our crawler strategy also activates, guiding the payment gateway’s crawler to the product page of Website B, ensuring they will never discover Website A.
